Temposonics® EtherCAT Position Sensor

The Temposonics® R-Series EtherCAT position sensors offers unrivalled accuracy, outstanding dynamics, low-cost configuration and optimum vertical integration. The smallest magnetostrictive position sensor for Industrial Ethernet worldwide is designed for real-time data transmission at maximum speed up to the last unit in the network. Due to its magnetostrictive technology it measures linear motions non-contact, hence without wear.

The rod model RH is designed for cylinder integration while the profile model RP is developed for external sensor mounting on the motion axis. For applications with limited space, models are available with a flexible measuring rod or with detached electronics. If IP68 or IP69K is required the RS with super shield housing is the perfect choice.
